To My GRAND Family and Friends,

Important news….GRAND Magazine is now all-digital. 

The current world-wide financial crisis is causing many of us to find a new way to do business, and this is true of GRAND.  As a result of events beyond our control, we are forced to temporarily suspend print publication of GRAND Magazine.  We will continue to create the magazine exactly as before and will distribute it online, as E-GRAND.  This is not just a website but the actual magazine in digital format.

Right now you may be thinking, “I don’t want to read a magazine on a computer”.  I know how you feel but let me point out some of the advantages: information is easier to research as you can simply click on live links embedded in stories and ads.  You can easily email articles to friends and family.  Archived issues will be easy to access.  You can’t ‘lose’ your copy, and not least, you are reducing your impact on the environment in a meaningful way.

Some FAQ’s

• Will GRAND be printed again?  Yes.  We expect to be printing in 2009 and providing print and digital options.
   
• What will happen to my subscription?  All print subscriptions will be extended for any amount that were not delivered plus a premium.
   
• Is E-GRAND my only way to receive the magazine?  Until we begin printing again, yes.
   
• I gave a subscription to my mother who does not have a computer.  Any suggestions?  Invite her to read online with you and print out the most important articles.  (Maybe this is a good time for her to get a simple computer.  This internet shows no sign of going away)
   
• How do I get E-GRAND?  Just CLICK HERE to SUBSCRIBE and enter the special code PSOZA1 to receive EGRAND at no additional cost.

Communication: When you sign up for E-GRAND, you will also receive the twice monthly E-newsletter, GRAND World.  Check that for news about GRAND and progress updates.
