VETERANS CRISIS LINE (confidential)
The Veterans Crisis Line connects Veterans in crisis and their families and friends with qualified, caring VA responders through a confidential, toll-free hotline and online chart.

Veterans and their families and friends can call 1-800-273-8255 and Press 1, chat online, or send a text message to 838255 to receive confidential support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

BLUE STAR FAMILIES
Goal is to support, connect and empower military families. BSF regularly surveys military families to keep our civilian and military leaders informed about your top issues. Check out the results of recent surveys and resources for your life.

 

BOB WOODRUFF FOUNDATION (REMIND.ORG)
The Bob Woodruff Foundation is the national nonprofit that helps ensure our nation's injured service members, veterans and their families return to a homefront ready to support them. ReMIND.org is a public education movement of the Bob Woodruff Foundation that educates the public about the needs of injured members, veterans and their families as they reintegrate into their communitites.

 

HELP USA
A non profit organization whose mission is to help those who are homeless and others in need become and remain self-reliant. The comprehensive continuum of services offered at HELP USA residences includes employment training and placement, life skills education, childcare, and domestic violence counseling . As clients build confidence and skills, they take control of their lives and find a new beginning.

 

HOPE FOR THE WARRIORS
Mission is to enhance the quality of life for post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty. Hope For The Warriors® is dedicated to restoring a sense of self, restoring the family unit, and restoring hope for our service members and our military families.

 

IAVA (Iraq and Afghanisatan Veterans of America)
IAVA strives to build an empowered generation of veterans who provide sustainable leadership for our country and their local communities. IAVA works toward this vision through programs in four key impact areas: supporting new veterans in Health, Education, Employment and building a lasting Community for vets and their families (HEEC).

 

INTREPID FALLEN HEROES FUND
The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund is a leader in supporting the men and women of the Armed Forces and their families. Begun in 2000 and established as an independent not-for-profit organization in 2003, the Fund has provided close to $120 million in support for the families of military personnel lost in service to our nation, and for severely wounded military personnel and veterans. These efforts are funded entirely with donations from the public, and hundreds of thousands of inpiduals have contributed to the Fund.

 

TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors)
Provides immediate and long-term emotional help, hope, and healing to all who are grieving the death of a loved one in military service to America. TAPS meets its mission by providing peer-based emotional support, grief and trauma resources, casework assistance, and connections to community-based care.

 

USO
The United Service Organizations Inc. (USO) is a nonprofit non-partisan organization whose mission is to provide programs, services and live entertainment to United States troops and their families.

 

WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT
Provides programs and services to severely injured service members during the time between active duty and transition to civilian life.
