Spiffy At The Park

Great-aunt Teresa pushes Saffiya on the swings (sister Imani can push herself)

Summer days at the park!  From our own experiences as a child, we know that these are opportunities to share cherished experiences with grandparents.  However, in sharp contrast to the ladies in our past —  genteel grandmothers with soft hands wearing [cotton frocks? Silky dresses? Something more description here, just to summon a more vivid picture of the past] and never without powder, rouge, lipstick, and a favorite fragrance,  today, many women confuse “casual” with “sloppy.” Why? Even on a hot day, it is easy be casual, comfy and look nice at the same time.
