In just two minutes “Engage,” a short film, speaks loudly about humankind with scarcely a word

I recently interviewed Tiffany Shlain, award-winning filmmaker, founder of the Webby Awards and one of Newsweek’s “Women Shaping the 21st Century.” She is an incredible woman who is changing the way people make and watch films.
Tiffany and her team created a new genre of filmmaking called Cloud Filmmaking. Employing user-submitted content, they collaboratively create, translate and customize films with video-sharing technologies and tools. To learn more about how her films come to life, listen to my live interview with Tiffany Tuesday, October, 16th at 1:00pm at the Marriott in Los Angeles.

“Engage,” her latest film, creates a thought-provoking universal message that asks, “What are you going to do while you’re here? Stand on the sidelines, or are you going to be part of something bigger?”
True to her film’s message, Tiffany will donate the use of her film to nonprofits. Her film crew will customize the close of the film with each nonprofit’s logo, message and call to action. Nonprofits have complete use of the film, created from a global audience, to promote their message in the viral world. Very cool!
This film is only available online. You can watch it on You Tube or on her website, LetItRipple.org—Mobile Films for Global Change, where you can learn more about this and other revolutionary projects she has developed.
