Bridging the Parenting Generation Gap

As you may know, we’ve been running the She Said/She Said  column on this website. Now Remy and Blair, the mother/daughter team (Blair Selby, aka Mom and Remy Agee, aka Grand) are now available on Facebook.  If you’d like to check them out and “Like” their page, you could win a wonderful DVD for your grandchildren.

SheSaid SheSaid: Bridging the Parenting Generation Gap, a regular feature for GRAND , focuses on issues facing parents and grandparents trying to handle that very special – yet delicate – parenting relationship.  Two generations plus differences in parenting styles and personalities can be challenging. Even the best relationships can be thrown off balance, when grandchildren come along.

Go here for their new Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/SheSaidSheSaidParenting. First, ‘Like’ the page.  Then, click on ‘Enter to Win’ for the entry form and the prize, ‘Sea Tunes for Kids’ DVD.

Join the conversation on parenting between the generations…Comment on questions, share your thoughts and ideas about getting over the bumps in the road and avoiding the potential potholes. Look for one of two new questions: “As a grandparent, what is the one thing you would say to a parent?”

If you’re not on Facebook, you still can enter the contest by going to the SheSaid SheSaid website(www.momandgrand.com). Click on the ‘Giveaways’ page.  The contest ends Friday, April 5th at 8 p.m.!
