Grand Advice for Grandmas from “Gramma Good”

askgrandma-good-web3-1

Since starting, GrammaGood.com, grandmas from all over the world have been asking for my advice on various topics, so I decided to start an advice column for GRAND readers – Ask Gramma Good!

Gramma Good is the hip matriarch of a blended family with 20 grandchildren, a cancer survivor and a wise blogger whose degree is in life.

Hi Gramma Good: I am 78. Will I find love?

Dear Love Finding Grandma:  Love makes the world go round at all ages, and so I understand how you are feeling. You must give yourself every opportunity to meet people. Join groups of people in your age group, such as a book club, a library group, mixed exercise class, a theatre group, a current events group, a cooking class and a wine tasting group (to mention a few).

You can do this by going to your church, synagogue or masque and inquiring. They have brochures on helping people stay connected. You have to be proactive. You have to circulate to percolate! Please tell us how it goes and good luck!

Do Something GOOD today: We have all suffered unpleasant experiences, both large and small. We often need help with an answer from an outside source. Let Ask Gramma Good be this source.  If you have a question for Gramma Good, ask here.
