Yes, we know it’s usually the parents who help the children with math and science, but let’s not forget the importance of grandparents and how they can help as well.
There is a new TV show that will help your young GRANDkids with math and science while sitting in the home of Nana and Papa. Check out Peep and the Big Wide World.
Emmy Award-winning Peep and the Big Wide World teaches science and math to an early childhood audience through the use of visual humor, engaging plotlines and lovable characters. Two science-focused stories are nestled within each half hour episode as the show follows Peep and his friends on their daily adventures. Also included in each episode are two live-action shorts showing kids experimenting with the same science concepts in real life.
PEEP Science Curriculum
Peep and the Big Wide World celebrates curiosity and the joys of discovery! The PEEP science curriculum invites preschoolers to actively investigate their world by exploring water, sound, plants, color, shadows, and ramps (movement).
