Gramma In A Box – For Long-Distance Grandparents

Gramma In A Box – for Long-Distance Grandparents

If you are a long distance grandparent like us (our g-kids ages 3 and five years old, live on the west coast and we live on the east coast) you mourn that you are not in the lives of your grandchildren more and look for innovative ways to stay connected.

Another yummy example of what treats are available to make with Gramma in a box.

While nothing takes the place of being there in person, Grandma in a Box sure is a good alternative.  Each month a box arrives filled with goodies and easy instructions read for your g-kids to enjoy.

Terry – The Grandma behind Gramma in a Box

This is an idea I developed when three of my grandchildren moved to Seattle. I was always boxing up cookies and treats that we could make together when we Skyped.  Once I shared this idea with other friends and family, the concept for Gramma in a Box was born!

If you are lucky enough to live near your grandchildren, or as a parent you want to have a fun, creative project without all the work, then this may be right for you.  Or, if you are like me, and your grandchildren do not live nearby, then shipping Gramma in a Box may just be the fun, monthly activity for you send.
Your monthly Gramma in a Box includes baked cookies with frosting and sprinkles as well two easy candy crafts to make – enough to make up to 20 finished products in each box.  Step-by-step instructions with illustrations are included.  Fun for everyone in the family. Check out  “How it Works” for more information.
