YAY Margaux!

Waggy Tail One: YAY Margaux! –The Incredible Adventures of the Awesome and Amazing Margaux

Authors/Illustrators: Laura and Scott Jordan

Reviewer: Jeanette Perkins aka Beeba

Meet Margaux, a thirteen year old blind and deaf standard poodle. She narrates this story of life at the magical Poodle Resort & Spa with her four poodle sisters. A tumbled sandcastle highlights Margaux’s challenges and how her sisters deal with the accident. When a thunderstorm strikes the area, Margaux turns her disability into a strength and she charges outside in the thunder and lightning to retrieve her sisters’ treasured necklaces.

“YAY Margaux! You saved the day!”

This is a great book to teach children about dealing with our differences and that what can first appear as a negative can quickly turn into a triumph as the situation is viewed in a new light. The bright and fun illustrations are fantastic and sure to engage a grand as you read this uplifting story. Waggy Tails are based on the real life adventures of Margaux Jordan.  Although Margaux passed over the rainbow bridge in July 2018, she will live on through the Waggy Tails series.
