Her brother and sister are none too happy about the change but Rebecca decides to embrace the situation. The first thing she does is announce that she will now be known at Becket. Next she writes a “Becket List” of how to become a country kid during her first summer on Blackberry Farm. Young readers will enjoy following Becket as she learns about farm animals, making new friends and opening your heart to new experiences even if they sometimes end in sadness.

Beautiful alert!

“Beautiful Alert!” is Becket’s new battle cry as she explores her new environment and all its wonders. City grands will get a taste of life on the farm and everyone will get a lesson in adapting to change with a positive attitude.
