Facts About Sermorelin And HCG

Sometimes, you know medications could help you, but you’re not sure which one would work best because there are many different options to choose from. For example, you might be considering Sermorelin and HCG, but not know which to ask your doctor about. Here are some facts about them.

1. Benefits

When you’re considering Sermorelin vs HCG for weight-loss, think about the benefits you want to see and those each medication offers. These medications offer similar benefits, but HCG and other natural hormone products tend to be prescribed for short-term use while Sermorelin can be used for a longer period of time. In general, both medications can be used for weight-loss, and muscle building, and toning. Sermorelin helps the body build muscle and recover from workouts while HCG is typically prescribed to help treat obesity by replacing hormones the body is deficient in and stimulating hormone production and the metabolism.

2. How HGC Works

Patients who are hormone deficient take HCG, often as an injection, in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise to stimulate their metabolisms. The medication does this by replacing the deficient hormone and bringing the body’s hormone levels back into balance. HCG and other hormone replacement therapies for weight-loss work best in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise. You shouldn’t utilize a heavily restricted-calorie diet. Instead, cut out processed foods and sugar and eat lots of grains, fruits and vegetables, lean meats, and healthy fats instead.

3. How Sermorelin Works

sermorelinSermorelin works similarly to HCG. Patients take it as an injection in conjunction with exercise and an appropriate diet to help them lose weight or build muscle. However, Sermorelin is less tightly regulated than HCG because it’s not a hormone replacement therapy, so it’s a cheaper and more flexible option than HCG is.

4. Common Lengths of Treatment Regimens

Sermorelin tends to be prescribed for longer treatment periods than HCG and other natural hormones. If you take too high a dose of a hormone such as HCG or take it for too long, you could experience serious side effects or health complications. Sermorelin is more commonly prescribed in long-term doses because there is no evidence of negative side effects or building up immunity from long-term use.

If you’re considering medication for weight-loss or muscle building, talk to your doctor. He or she can help you make the best decisions for your health and wellbeing.
